About

What this site is

This is an independent guide to the Federal Scholarship Tax Credit. We explain the program in plain language, and we link every factual claim to its primary source so you can check our work.

Why we built it

The Federal Scholarship Tax Credit is a big new program, and it is confusing. The law is long. The regulations are still being written. States are making different choices. Families and donors deserve one place that explains it clearly, keeps up with changes, and shows its sources.

We are not selling anything. We do not run a scholarship organization. We do not take a cut of donations. That independence is the point. When we recommend nothing and sell nothing, you can trust that the information stands on its own.

How we work

Every article on this site follows the same rules:

Corrections

We get things wrong sometimes, and tax law moves fast. When we find an error, we fix it and note the correction on the page with the date. If you spot something wrong, tell us and we will check it against the primary source.

Who writes this

Abnel Deshommes

Abnel runs Define Gravity, an engineering practice that builds digital platforms for schools and high-stakes organizations. He works directly with school administrators on enrollment, admissions, and family engagement.

He started this site because the families he works with kept asking how the new federal scholarship program works, and nobody had a straight answer. He is not a tax professional. He is an independent researcher who reads the primary sources and shows his work.
